Job description: Seeking a Detail-Oriented Financial Wizard!Are you an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant ready to take on new challenges? Look no further! My client is seeking a talented individual to fill the role of Accountant and become an integral part of their finance team.This is position is based in Johannesburg North.Duties:
- Perform general ledger maintenance and oversee journal entries to ensure accurate financial records.
- Manage the execution of accounts payable and receivable processes with precision and efficiency.
- Handle cash flow management and conduct thorough bank reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
- Navigate complex financial matters, including cross-border financial regulations, with confidence and expertise.
- Engage in regular financial reporting activities to provide crucial insights for informed decision-making.
- Oversee payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Handle VAT and Tax compliance obligations across all territories to ensure adherence to legal standards.
- Maintain the fixed asset register and fulfill insurance duties to safeguard company assets.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Completed BCom within a Finance related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- FinTech or Entertainment industry experience required
