Job description: Our client is recruiting for an Accountant in Bloemfontein.

Minimum requirements:
- National Diploma in Accounting OR B Degree in Accounting
- Computer literate (advanced skills)
Duties will include:
- Preparation of financial month end results (month end includes various tasks not listed here)
- Preparation of lease schedule for invoicing
- Managing stock
- Preparation and capturing general ledger journals as and when required
- Preparation of general ledger reconciliations
- Managing and review of debtors – invoicing, statements and collections
- Managing of creditors – review of reconciliations and payments
- Monthly financial statement analytical reviews
- Preparation and submission of VAT
- Preparation and submission of quarterly Stats SA returns
- Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Supervision of staff
- Cash management – checking and releasing of payments, preparation of weekly bank reconciliation, distribution of daily cash report and petty cash supervision
- Ensure that all intercompany balances are agreed
- Preparation of year end pack for audit purposes and assistance with the audit
- Maintenance of relationships with internal and external customers
- Ad hoc duties
- Compliance to SHEQ requirements and applicable legislations
- Administration of staff fuel cards etc
Remuneration:
R25 000 per month depending on qualifications and experience
