Job description: Key Responsibilities:
1.Oversee the accounts receivable process, including invoice generation, monitoring payments, and following up on overdue accounts.
2.Prepare and process receipts, reconcile customer accounts, and resolve discrepancies.
3.Ensure timely collections and effective management of outstanding accounts.
4.Manage, prepare, and monitor bank guarantees and letters of credit, ensuring all documentation comply with contract and banking requirements.
5.Coordinate with banks to execute and follow up on guarantees and letters of credit, ensuring timely execution and accuracy.
6.Perform monthly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts, ensuring all transactions are accounted for and discrepancies resolved.
7.Generate and analyze accounts receivable aging reports, providing insights into overdue balances and recommending actions for resolution.
8.Prepare monthly and quarterly AR reports for management, including collection status and forecasted cash flows.
9.Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and ensure proper documentation of all receivable’s transactions.
10.Liaise with internal departments, customers, and banks to resolve receivable-related inquiries or issues.
11.Ensure compliance with VAT and Corporate including periodic return filing and refund applications
12.Maintain clear audit trails and documentation necessary
13.Coordinate with tax authorities and consultants to address queries in a timely manner
14.Support the Finance Manager in financial audits and liaise with external auditors.
15.Assist the Finance Manager in conducting financial analysis, Budgeting and forecasting, performance measurement, KPI reports and dashboardsRequirements
1.CA Inter with a minimum of 3-5 years of industry experience or
2.Minimum of bachelor’s degree in commerce and accounting with 6-8 years of industry experience
3.At least 2 years of experience in UAE VAT laws and Accounts Receivable is mandatory.
4.Specific experience in handling bank guarantees, letters of credit and contracts in Freezone company is preferred.
5.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
6.Familiarity with ERP systems
