- Prepare and maintain financial records, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and tax laws.
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies on time.
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to assist in strategic decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, monitoring variances against projections.
- Manage payroll processes and ensure timely and accurate disbursement of employee salaries and benefits.
- Coordinate with external auditors during the audit process and assist in the preparation of necessary documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar financial role, preferably with 3+ years of experience.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
