Experience with Palladium accounting software is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and meticulously track production costs.
- Calculate and consistently update COGM (Cost of Goods Manufactured) and COGS (Cost of Goods Sold).
- Conduct insightful variance analyses.
- Prepare precise and timely financial statements.
- Generate comprehensive reports on crucial financial metrics.
- Collaborate in the development of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Diligently monitor budget performance and provide clear explanations for variances.
- Monitor, reconcile, and optimize inventory levels.
- Implement and sustain effective inventory valuation methods.
- Conduct periodic, thorough physical inventory counts.
- Record and meticulously track fixed assets.
- Ensure unwavering compliance with accounting standards.
- Ensure strict adherence to financial regulations and standards.
- Offer valuable assistance during internal and external audits.
- Efficiently manage all tax-related activities.
- Stay abreast of evolving tax laws impacting the manufacturing sector.
- Conduct comprehensive cost-benefit analyses for manufacturing processes.
- Analyze profitability based on product lines or customer segments.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Successful completion of Matric is required.
- Possession of a completed financial diploma or degree.
- Qualified SAIPA/CIMA
