Job description: Responsibilities:
1.Financial Accounting & Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely completion of all financial statements and reports. Prepare, review, and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Maintain general ledger and manage reconciliation activities. Ensure adherence to accounting standards (e.g., GAAP or IFRS) in financial reporting. Review and verify entries and ensure accurate SAP financial data reporting.
2.Accounts Payable and Receivable Management: Efficiently manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure cash flow and compliance. Process and monitor accounts payable/receivable transactions in SAP. Perform credit analysis and maintain credit limits for customers in SAP. Coordinate with the collections team to manage outstanding balances and reduce aging reports. Ensure proper recording and compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
3.SAP System Utilization and Optimization: Maximize SAP functionalities to enhance accounting and reporting processes. Maintain and regularly update all relevant SAP modules related to finance, including FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling).Identify and implement system improvements to streamline accounting processes within SAP. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and timely updates within SAP. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving SAP-related issues in collaboration with IT or SAP support teams.
4.Budgeting and Forecasting: Support accurate budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Assist in developing, updating, and tracking budgets within SAP. Analyze variances between budgeted and actual figures and prepare variance reports. Provide financial insights to management to support informed decision-making.
5.Internal Controls and Compliance: Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Perform audits of financial data in SAP to ensure accuracy and compliance. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance internal controls. Support regular internal and external audits by providing necessary reports and data. Ensure compliance with company policies, as well as local and international financial regulations.
6.Financial Analysis and Process Improvement: Support process efficiency and financial insights. Conduct financial analyses to support operational and strategic decision-making. Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices. Utilize SAP reports for advanced financial analysis to provide insights on business performance.
7.Training and Knowledge Sharing: Enhance the team’s SAP capabilities and overall accounting knowledge. Provide SAP training to finance team members and share best practices. Assist new team members in learning SAP modules and functionalities.
