- Prepare financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards
- Perform financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and potential areas of improvement
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions using accounting software
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations
- Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to financial procedures and policies
- Provide support during external audits by preparing necessary documentation
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely payments to employee
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts regularly
- Communicate financial information effectively to stakeholders, both orally and in writing
Job Experience & Skills Required:Qualifications:
- Matric
- BCom Accounting
Experience:
- Completed SAICA articles
Skills & Competencies:
- Ability to prepare financial statements
- Accurate data analysis skills
- Understanding of accounting principles
