- Regularly meet with client representatives to provide updates, address issues, negotiate contracts, support security planning, conduct assessments, and review/update post orders.
- Work with Area management to recruit, select, orient, train, develop, and retain top-tier staff. Ensure fair treatment of employees and supervise, coach, and discipline them when required.
- Demonstrate expertise in Emergency Management, report writing, and patrol strategies. Train, develop, and implement these processes.
- Assist in budgeting and financial management for the assigned account.
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. Educate staff on compliance requirements and ensure all relevant standards are met.
- Authorize necessary expenditures for equipment, supplies, and vehicles, and ensure their maintenance. Manage inventory for uniforms, radios, and other essential equipment. Maintain accurate payroll records.
- Coordinate staffing schedules, ensuring client needs are met while controlling labor costs. Conduct regular site inspections and review Security Officer reports to ensure adherence to post orders.
- Contribute to company initiatives and support the resolution of legal, financial, human resource, and administrative issues.
- Foster teamwork and support the implementation of progressive changes.
Education/Experience:
- Associate’s degree and 3+ years of experience in security or business management, or equivalent experience.
- ASIS Certification preferred.
Key Competencies:
- Strong understanding of security operations and business management.
- Knowledge of human resources administration and business operations.
- Proficiency in PC use, spreadsheets, and business/financial data analysis.
- Excellent planning, organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to interact effectively across diverse cultures.
- Proven ability to manage large teams, set clear expectations, and hold individuals accountable to performance standards.
- Ability to lead teams, facilitate change, and take initiative to achieve results.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to changes in the environment.
Compensation:
- Salary: $90k – $100k annually
- Pay Frequency: Weekly
