We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Access Control Installer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, programming, and servicing electronic access control systems for commercial and/or residential clients.Responsibilities:
Install and service access control systems including card readers, keypads, maglocks, strikes, and electric locksMount and wire control panels and power suppliesRun and terminate low voltage wiring (Cat5e/Cat6, 18/2, etc.)Configure and program access control software and user credentialsWork with systems such as Lenel, Brivo, HID, Honeywell, Paxton, S2, or similarRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentsPerform diagnostics, testing, and troubleshooting of hardware and softwareMaintain documentation of installs, service calls, and inventoryEnsure compliance with NEC and local codesCollaborate with clients, contractors, and internal project managersRequirements:
2+ years experience installing or servicing access control systemsStrong understanding of low voltage systems and basic networking (IP addressing, POE)Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectivelyValid driver’s license and reliable transportationAbility to work at heights and lift 50+ lbsExcellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skillsPreferred Qualifications:
Experience with integrated security systems (CCTV, intercom, alarm)OSHA 10/30 certificationManufacturer certifications (e.g., Lenel, HID, Genetec, Brivo, Honeywell)Electrical or low-voltage license (where applicable)Benefits:
