Job description: Job Location: HickoryReports to: Director, Information TechnologyRole Overview:We are seeking a skilled and experienced ABAP Programmer to join our dynamic team. This pivotal position is aimed at enhancing operational efficiency across various business sectors, including Customer Service, Materials Management, Production Planning, Logistics, and Finance. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and supporting SAP ERP systems, ensuring they meet our business and customer needs effectively.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and modify ABAP programs, forms, and workflows based on business requirements.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of SAP projects, handling tasks of varying complexity and scale.
  • Lead the implementation process, covering data migration, testing, user training, and go-live activities.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical design documentation.
  • Provide end-to-end documentation, including functional documentation, solution design, and data mapping.
  • Support and optimize SAP transactional solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices.
  • Offer training and support to end-users, particularly in Customer Service, Materials Management, and Logistics.
  • Maintain SAP user accounts, roles, permissions, and update master data as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of technical experience with SAP.
  • Proficient in reading and modifying ABAP code.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP modules relevant to the business domain such as SD, MM, FI, and CO.
  • Experienced in SAP configuration, customization, and master data maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Preferred: SAP Certification.

Expected salary: $110000 – 130000 per year
