Job description: Key Responsibilities:
1.Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of interior designers, 3D artists, and fitout specialists. Foster a collaborative and creative work environment, providing guidance and support to team members.
2.Project Oversight: Oversee the development and execution of 3D designs for interior and fitout projects, ensuring that all work aligns with client requirements, project timelines, and budget.
3.Client Interaction: Liaise with clients to understand their needs and present 3D design concepts, including fitout layouts, material selections, and finishes. Incorporate feedback and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
4.Design Visualization: Manage the creation of high-quality 3D renderings, walkthroughs, and presentations that bring interior spaces and fitouts to life, ensuring realism, accuracy, and adherence to design principles.
5.Fitout Coordination: Collaborate with the project management team and contractors to ensure that the interior design and fitout align with construction timelines and on-site requirements.
6.Quality Control: Review and approve 3D models, renderings, and interior fitout plans, ensuring all deliverables meet the company’s quality standards and are accurate representations of the project vision.
7.Material and Product Selection: Work with the design team to recommend and specify materials, furniture, finishes, and fixtures that complement the overall design concept and meet functional and aesthetic needs.
8.Innovation and Development: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and new tools in 3D design and fitout solutions. Continuously seek opportunities to innovate and improve the design and fitout process.
9.Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively within the team, ensuring optimal use of time, software, and other resources to meet project deadlines and objectives.
10.Budget and Timeline Management: Monitor project progress, ensuring designs stay within budget and timelines. Adjust resources and processes to address any project challenges that arise.Required Skills and Qualifications:
1.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in 3D design and interior fitout, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role.
3.Strong proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering software (AutoCAD, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Lumion, SketchUp, or similar).
4.Solid understanding of interior design principles, space planning, fitout processes, and material selection.
5.Leadership experience with the ability to manage, guide, and inspire a creative team.
6.Strong project management skills, with experience in coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and managing timelines and budgets.
7.Excellent communication and client presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly.
8.Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team and handle client feedback with flexibility and professionalism.
9.Attention to detail and the ability to maintain quality control throughout all phases of the project.
10.Experience with fitout design in commercial, retail, or residential spaces.
11.Knowledge of construction techniques, building codes, and regulations related to interior fitouts.
12.Experience in cost estimation and budget management for design and fitout projects.
