  • Design system architecture strategies and component level technical requirements for John Deere Sales Center (JDSC) Order application;
  • Coach and counsel other technical employees to promote employee development and professional growth;
  • Review technical work completed by programmers and functional analysts to ensure work is completed with quality and in alignment with business requirements and technical strategy;
  • Assist in resolution of difficult information system technical issues;
  • Drive and implement components of the JDSC Order product technology roadmap;
  • Work with other enterprise technical architects for other system products to find and resolve functional gaps that exist and facilitate changes to system solutions to close those gaps.
  • 50% remote work allowed. Must live within normal commuting distance of the worksite. 10% domestic and international travel required.

What Skills You Need

  • 4 years of experience in architect and develop highly complex software solutions with integrations to SAP ERP using Object Oriented ABAP, BAPIs, BADIs, ALE, RFCs, IDOCS, Enhancements, Smart Forms, Dynpro, ECC 6.0, User exits (development functions), SAP BODS, RESTful APIs and technical change management tools
  • 4 years of experience in configure and implement SAP Sales and Distribution, Incentives & Payback solutions using SAP Vistex, Materials Management, Vehicle Management System (VMS) modules and In-depth knowledge of Order Fulfillment, and Order Processing functions
  • 4 years of experience in applications development environment, database, data management and infrastructure capabilities and constraints knowledge, specifically in SAP HANA
  • 1 years of experience in work in TDD and acceptance test-driven development, utilizing ABAP Unit and SAP ATC
  • 1 years of experience in work with DevSecOps principles and tools, including Okta and Continuous Integration and Delivery tools, including Jenkins, Active Control, and GitHub
  • 1 years of experience in architect and develop complex software solutions for SAP using SAP NetWeaver Gateway, SAP Fiori UX and SAPUI5 Framework

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field plus 4 years related experience.
