Fixed term, part-time role (0.5 FTE) available for 24 months.

The School of Psychology is seeking a clinical or health psychology supervisor to grow the teaching clinic at Playford. This role is located predominantly on-site at our Playford clinic in the northern suburbs of Adelaide in our modern purpose-built facilities.

The successful candidate will provide clinical oversight, assessment, and support, including running individual and group-supervision sessions, for students undertaking a placement as part of the Master of Psychology (Clinical and Health) programs at the University of Adelaide. This role involves working within a small supervision team, and working in co-ordination with adjoining private clinic, to develop and deliver the highest quality placement experience to best prepare the next generation of psychologists.

While the successful candidate will not have their own client load, we are looking for an experienced clinician with demonstrated skills providing flexible and tailored psychological therapy for a broad range of client presentations.

To be successful you will need:

  • Master’s degree in clinical or health psychology or equivalent.
  • Registered as a Psychologist with Endorsement in Clinical or Health Psychology and as a supervisor with AHPRA.
  • Demonstrated experience of student support and supervision in a clinical environment.
  • Demonstrated clinical skills providing flexible psychological therapy to a range of client presentations
  • Demonstrated computer literacy and ability to learn new software packages.
