In this role, you’ll provide clinical support services, including general assistance in wards, cleaning duties, and transfers of patients, equipment and supplies at the facility. You’ll also undertake security-related duties as required.
Also known as the Rainbow Region, this area is blessed with stunning forests and waterfalls, fertile farming land, artistic villages and relaxed seaside communities. For a different type of scene, you can drive to the Gold Coast in less than 2 hours, or Brisbane in under 3 hours.
If you have:
- A current NSW Security licence (Class 1A minimum)
- Experience as a Health and Security Assistant or Wardsperson in a hospital setting, or experience in the security industry with an interest in the provision of patient care
- Sound knowledge of risk management, safety and quality principles (including manual handling)
- Knowledge of hygiene, infection prevention and control and environmental cleaning standards
- Availability and capacity to participate in a 24 hour/seven day rotating roster
