Job description: Our client in the Package/Freight Delivery industry is currently looking for a Key Accounts Manager in Johannesburg.

Responsibilities:
- Reactive Interventions:
- Implementing problem-solving and damage control actions promptly to satisfy customer needs.
- Ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all actions as per customer expectations.
- Consistent follow-up and closure of customer interactions.
- Pro-active Interventions:
- Engaging proactively with clients to sustain customer loyalty and promote the brand.
- Applying innovative and cost-effective interventions to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Tailoring actions to specific clients for increased value.
- Rate Increases:
- Proactively negotiating with clients during rate increase discussions.
- Conducting monthly KPI meetings with customers to discuss performance and address any issues.
- Sales and Retention:
- Supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual individual Sales targets.
- Planning, directing, and coordinating customer identification and sales activities.
- Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of company services and operations to exceed customer expectations.
- Professionally preparing proposals that promote the brand and facilitate the sales process.
- Negotiating pricing for mutual benefit.
- Account Management:
- Ensuring accurate interpretation by key account holders for effective problem-solving.
- Identifying underlying challenges and proposing appropriate solutions.
- Forming the basis for sound business decisions to support client retention.
- Administrative:
- Keeping all Sales and Retention admin and records current and accurate.
- Providing timely and accurate input for Sales and Retention reports.
- Submitting monthly meeting minutes to Sales and Retention Manager and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Grade 12/Matric.
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Key Accounts Management.
- Team player with a sense of responsibility.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Negotiation skills.
- Fully vaccinated.
- A dynamic and results-oriented individual.
Remuneration:
- Up to R45 000 per month.
Expected salary: R45000 per month
