About the role
Ballina Community Health is seeking an Administration Officer to join their Aged Care Service team to provide administration and clerical support to the Manager and team, to facilitate smooth operation of the Aged Care service. Providing timely and accurate reception, administrative and transactional services for internal and external stakeholders to provide a quality customer focused service.
If you have:
- Recent administration experience with knowledge of procedures relating to telephone, reception and customer service
- Organisational skills required to work as an effective team member in a high pressure, high volume work environment, while setting priorities and monitoring work flows, including a high degree of data input accuracy, based around patient activity
- Competence in the use of computer software packages, including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) with a willingness to acquire new skills as required
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written, including the ability to relate maturely and professionally within a busy environment to clients and health service staff
