This is an exciting opportunity for a Level 3 Physiotherapist to join the Rehab2Kids team in the Cerebral Palsy service. Our current vacancy is for up to 18 hours per week working Mondays, Tuesdays and alternate Wednesdays.

We are open to appointing multiple part time applicants into this role so applications are welcome for either the full 18 hours per week or for a fraction of these hours (subject to applications).

What you’ll be doing

The physiotherapist will provide clinical services to inpatients and/or outpatients as determined by the particular role. The physiotherapist
will provide evidence based care within a multidisciplinary and family centred context, and utilise holistic physiotherapy models of care.

Participation is required in ongoing education, teaching, evidence based practice and quality improvement activities.

The Level 3 Physiotherapist will contribute at an advanced level to:

  • Planning, development and evaluation of physiotherapy services.
  • Development, implementation and evaluation of policies, procedures and practice guidelines for patient care.
  • Liaison with community based services relevant to the patient population.

  • Recognised qualification in Physiotherapy and AHPRA registration.
  • Significant postgraduate experience and knowledge in the relevant caseload.
  • Demonstrated advanced level of clinical skills in the relevant caseload.
  • Demonstrated high level communication and interpersonal skills, (including negotiation and conflict resolution skills in (insert caseload specifics) and proven success in multidisciplinary team settings.
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills with an ability to work flexibly within clinical and administrative service demands.
  • Experience in supervision of physiotherapy staff and students
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in service delivery improvement activities and/or research.
