The Yara Pilbara Fertilisers’ plant is one of the largest ammonia production sites in the world and we have also taken the ammonia process further downstream with the Yara Pilbara Nitrates Technical Ammonium Nitrate (TAN) plant, a joint venture with Orica. Together with ENGIE, Yara Pilbara will also build a renewable hydrogen plant to produce renewable ammonia.

Responsibilities
Looking for an exciting new challenge? Yara are seeking applications for their permanent role of Storeperson. Reporting to the Warehouse Coordinator, the Storeperson is responsible for receipt, storage and dispatch of all materials onsite, with Safety at the forefront to drive a “Safe by Choice” culture.
The primary responsibilities include:
- Actively participate in Safety meetings, JSEA creation and review;
- Loading and unloading of all materials onsite;
- Processing and receipting incoming freight;
- Ability to work well in a team and autonomously;
- Picking and packing outward goods;
- Issue and maintain gas cylinders and chemicals from the Dangerous Goods yard;
- Conduct cyclical stock takes to maintain correct stock levels in SAP;
- Housekeeping of all storage areas;
- Initiative and result oriented behaviour;
- Overtime expected as per Business requirements.

Profile
- Current Australian driver’s license;
- Current High-Risk license for forklift operations;
- Hold or ability to obtain a Dangerous Goods Security Card;
- Minimum 1-2 years experience within a Materials Handling role or similar;
- Experience in oil and gas, chemical processing, mining or manufacturing industries;
- SAP experience is desirable;
- Good computer skills to use inventory management system and Microsoft Office;
- Basic understanding of account processing and IT systems;
- Ability to do regular lifting and demonstrated understanding of safe manual handling techniques;
- Ability to work in hot environments;
- Fluent English (verbal and written);
- Australian/New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency. Temporary work visa holders are not eligible for this role.
