Job Summary: * Create and plan English curriculum and instruction in collaboration with ELD co-teacher for Recently Arrived English Learners (RAELs) in Newcomer Academy
- Integrate ELD standards aligned with content curriculum of Independent School District 196
- Carry out responsiblites as defined by ELD Leadership team, administration and site coordinator
- Maintain good communication and cooperation with students, staff and families
Qualifications: * Licensed by the state of Minnesota to teach English for grades 9-12
- Strong general academic background.
- Ability to relate positively to students, staff, and community.
- Demonstrated planning and organizational skills
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally, ethnically, racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferred.

$40.00/hr on student-contact days
