About the Role:
The primary purpose of the position of the Finance Business Partner is to provide trusted business partnering and support to stakeholders to ensure financial best practice methods and tools are developed, implemented and utilised. To assist the Business Analysis Team in the provision of high quality, professional services to budget owners and business units to assist with the delivery of their expected outcomes. The role reports to the Manager of Business Analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance Business Analysis Team’s performance through training.
- Educate stakeholders on financial matters for improved acumen.
- Foster relationships across all departments for guidance and support.
- Support Senior Managers in driving business process improvements.
- Assist in financial reporting and planning for operational units.
- Analyse outputs and projects for public benefit and optimal value.
- Maintain financial reporting in line with the organisation’s sustainability goals.
What We Look For:
- Relevant business degree and qualifications
- Demonstrated and proven experience in business partnering or similar roles.
- Strong understanding of financial practices; SAP proficiency is advantageous.
- Expertise in MS Office, especially Excel for data analysis and reporting.
