Duties
Responsible for the operations of the Information, Tickets & Tours (ITT) office; plans, develops and administers a comprehensive ticket selling program, ensures variety and appeal for the military community to include tours of physical activity, entertainment, cultural and educational value.
Communicates with other military ITT offices for the purpose of acquiring and sharing new ideas for tours, activities, promotions and business contacts. Communicates with sale/marketing personnel from the entertainment and sports attractions in Southern California in order to arrange the most favorable military and group discounts.
Prepares and/or initiates request for promotional flyers, posters, newspaper articles to publicize all events, activities and upcoming tours, using all available media coverage.
Responsible for funds generated from all sources, their collection, reconciliation, recording, safeguard, and deposits with the guidelines of MCCS policies and procedures. Ensures that policies and procedures for the control of cash and other negotiable items are strictly adhered to and followed. Conducts monthly inventory in conjunction with the Finance Branch.
Responsible for developing an annual budget and reviews the financial status of the budget for recommended changes considered necessary to enhance business operations. Makes recommendations to the Semper Fit Director concerning improvements or changes to the ITT services and assists in the development of long range plans for the facility renovation and equipment replacement.
The ability to supervise, motivate and train subordinate employees. Ensures compliance with all mandated and scheduled training for your department. Evaluates performance, recommends promotions, disciplinary action or other personnel actions.
Ensures compliance with all security, safety, environmental, fire and EEO regulations and directives.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Three years experience in the Travel and Tourism industry with and emphasis on planning tours and special events, exposure to computerized systems and money handling. Knowledge of business/financial and facility management. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and to deal with all classes of people.
