Permanent Part Time Position
Up to 64 hours per fortnight
About the role
We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Paediatric Nurses to join our team within the Cotton On Children’s Ward in the capacity of fixed term, part time Registered Nurses (RN).
The successful applicant will have a strong focus on family centred care and the implementation of collaborative care. Professional Development opportunities are wide and varied and will be supported by the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) wherever possible.
Working within a multidisciplinary team you will be expected to facilitate and foster best practice and service delivery for our clients and their families. Preference will be given to staff with strong clinical experience and post graduate qualifications in Paediatric Nursing.
Skills and experience
- Current registration with AHPRA as a registered nurse
- Post Graduate qualifications in Paediatrics.
- A minimum of 2 years clinical experience as a registered nurse.
- Recent experience in Paediatric nursing

This position is paid in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2020 – 2024. The classification is Registered Nurse Grade 2 (YP2 – YP9) which ranges from $34.17 – $48.26 per hour.

- Desirable : Do you have recent experience in the provision of paediatric nursing care? If yes, please outline your experience
- Desirable : Can you explain what family centred care means to you and how you implement it into your everyday practice?
- Essential : Do you hold current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)? Please detail your registration number.
- Essential : The successful candidate must hold, or be prepared to undergo, an employee Working with Children Check (WWCC). Please advise if you currently hold an employee WWCC, if not are you willing to undergo one?
