The Mental Health Advocacy Service assists people receiving mental health services in Western Australia. We help to amplify their voices so their views and preferences are not only heard but respected. We negotiate relationships within and across services with skill, patience, and persistence to ensure that people understand and access their rights under the Act. We work to enhance peoples’ experience of treatment, care, and support, and promote compliance with the Act and the Charter of Mental Health Care Principles.

We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic applicants for the role of Executive Officer.
About the role
The key responsibilities for this role are to provide executive and administrative support to the Chief Mental Health Advocate (CMHA) and the CMHA’s Office in terms of secretarial support, correspondence management, business management support, stakeholder management and support, research and project support.
In undertaking the role of this position, the occupant will need to recognise that there is a commitment to focussing on the needs of the individual, their families, carers or advocates working in partnership for better mental health outcomes.
