We are looking for someone that has a passion to support people with disabilities live their best lives, and lead a team to achieve best practice.

This is a varied role, and no two days are the same. The role will require that you support a team of behaviour practitioners to develop and progress in their skills and experience in providing behavioural support services. We are looking for an expert in behaviour support, who has the experience to support and lead a team in best practice.

Duties include:

Workload planning
Organisation and clinical supervision
The development of appropriate training programs
Development and facilitation of group reflective supervision.
Review plans and make recommendations regarding skill development, restrictive practices, supported decision making and clinical interventions
Along with the leadership team, contribute to the development of policies and procedures -and guide referral acceptance and workflow.
The team leader will also hold a reduced caseload.
We are a small but very busy private practice – This position suits someone who has previous substantial experience in behaviour support (Advanced self capability level is required with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission). Experience in working with children and early intervention services, and experience in working in with families who have experienced trauma is essential.

As a Board Certified Behaviour Analysis (BCBA) you will have demonstrated skills in supporting families with direct intervention and support. Additionally previous team leader experience is essential.

But in addition to your qualifications what really matters is what type of person you are – and your values and passion that you bring to the role.

This role is about people ! So we are looking for team players, with good communication skills, who have the ability to support our team build their skills and experience.

To be eligible for the role you must have

BCBA and registration with BACB ongoing
S29 Advanced Level (NDIS Self Capability Framework)
Significant experience leading a team toward best practice, and experience in the NDIS framework
A drivers licence (unrestricted) access to your own vehicle
Have a WWCC, NCC, and NDIS worker screening (or willingness to obtain) with nil adverse conditions
Relevant experience in a similar role; demonstrated transferable skills
Sound computer skills
Excellent communication skills including written communication skills
