Responsibilities and Duties:
- Contractor will perform the following tasks in the time and manner specified:
- Modify, develop, design, and maintain .NET applications daily, as directed by the Department.
- Design and modify model objects (tables, views indexes) daily, as directed by the Department.
- Develop ad-hoc queries on MSSQL databases daily, as directed by the Department.
- Provide analytical services for system incidents and enhancements daily, as directed by the Department.
- Process defect tickets to correct system errors within two business days, as directed by the Department.
- Process release tickets to manage user requirements within the timeframe directed by the specific ticket request. The response (due) date of tickets assigned will range from one hour to more than one week, as directed by the Department.
- Process change tickets to implement system changes on a weekly basis, as directed by the Department.
- Provide analytical services on systems to implement user-defined requirements, daily, as directed by the Department.
- Process defect tickets to correct system errors within two business days, as directed by the Department.
- Provide analytical services on systems to identify operational efficiencies, daily, as directed by the Department.
- Document system technical objects, business requirements, business processes, and system processes, as directed by the Department.
- Test application code, as directed by the Department, and Perform testing on system changes to meet user-defined requirements, weekly, as directed by the Department.
Required Qualifications and Skills
.NET related application developer experience:
- 10-14 years of experience with the following technologies and products: object-oriented and object-relational design and development, web technologies, XML, HTML, MS SQL, Microsoft .Net (VB.Net, C#.Net, ASP.Net, MVC), MS Visual Studio 2012, and 2019.
- 10-14 years of experience with modifying, developing, designing, and maintaining .NET applications to meet design and change specifications.
- 10-14 years of experience with MS versioning tool.
- 8-11 years of experience with creating and maintaining technical documentation for all development tasks.
- 8-11 years of experience in creating technical specifications, .NET and SQL coding standards.
- 8-11 years of experience in creating and managing crystal reports.
- Experience with the Department’s ATACS system, other tobacco prevention reporting/information systems, or other community activity tracking systems.
MS SQL Related Experience:
- 10-14 years of experience with MS SQL products inclusive of MS SQL 2008/2012.
- 10-14 years of experience as an MS SQL data modeler inclusive of data design/modeling, monitoring, and performance tuning.
- 10-14 years of experience with SQL programming inclusive of stored procedures, functions, and triggers etc.
- 8-13 years of experience with SQL relational databases, OLTP and DSS, serving in high performance, service-oriented, multi-tiered environments.
- 8-11 years of experience with configuration management for SQL database objects.
- 8-13 years of experience with database design tools.
Expected salary: $70 per hour
