Your workweek will typically run Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering the flexibility you need to balance work and life commitments.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Follow the full System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Methodology in developing quality solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Work with Microsoft Visual Studio Development, develop application code consistent with Microsoft .NET Framework.
  • Work with business users, business analysts, and other IT teams to determine system requirements.
  • Create logical, physical and detailed design documentations and seek architecture approval before building.
  • Participate in development of Use Cases and technical design documentation.
  • Complete detailed design documentation for application sustainability.
  • Work collaboratively with mainframe developer(s) to achieve connectivity to the mainframe via Entire-X Communicator software.
  • Reuse previous developed and deployed web services in a shared web service infrastructure, based on Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts and principles.
  • Perform specific project tasks/deliverables as assigned by a Program Manager, Project Manager, Development Lead, Architect, or designee.
  • Construct code to meet external and internal specifications.
  • Conduct unit and system integration testing.
  • Prepare release documents.
  • Participate in quality assurance peer reviews of business requirements, business and technical specifications, test documentation, and code.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an IT related or Engineering field. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year for year basis.
  • At least seven (7) years of experience, within the last ten (10) years performing design, development, and implementation of distributed, enterprise scalable Microsoft .NET web applications and Microsoft WCF services running on Windows servers using Microsoft C#.NET in support of a large-scale Pension, Financial, or similar type organization.
  • At least five (5) years of experience creating highly usable internet and intranet applications using ASP.NET, C#, jQuery, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • At least five (5) years of experience integrating modern n-tier enterprise applications with mainframe legacy systems.
  • At least two (2) years of experience using LINQ and Entity Framework.
  • Experience in various cloud technologies, especially AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
  • Experience using Microsoft Web API and Microsoft ASP.NET MVC with Angular.js or Knockout.js.
  • Experience using HTML5, Bootstrap, and Telerik Kendo UI Framework for responsive GUI development with particular emphasis on designing for mobile clients.
  • Ability to create technical specifications, functional requirements, design models, test plans, user documentation, or other SDLC artifacts as needed.
  • Excellent oral communication and technical writing skills; ability to mentor development staff to work effectively with established design patterns leveraging shared services, a robust library of base classes, and available utilities.
  • Demonstrated sound analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to logically approach a problem and document the findings.
  • Experience with iterative development methodologies, particularly Agile/SCRUM.
