Job title: Junior Accounts Receivable Controller

Job description: Your responsibilities will include but is not limited to:
Invoicing: Assisting with the creation and issuance of invoices to customers for products or services provided by the company
Payment Processing: Supporting the processing and recording of incoming payments from customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in payment application
Account Reconciliation: Assisting in reconciling customer accounts and resolving discrepancies between invoices, payments, and customer records
Collections: Collaborating with the collections team to follow up on overdue accounts, contacting customers to secure payment, and documenting collection efforts
Reporting: Generating reports on accounts receivable aging, cash flow, and other relevant metrics to provide insights into the financial health of the business
Customer Communication: Communicating with customers regarding billing inquiries, payment reminders, and resolving disputes or discrepancies in a professional and timely manner
Recordkeeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of customer accounts, transactions, and correspondence to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
Skills & Experience:
Microsoft office
Good time management skills
Excellent at prioritizing
Qualification:
Matric and relevant experience
Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience
