What we are looking for:

Applications are invited for the position of Assistant Principal: Administration (APA) to join the leadership team at St Patrick’s Catholic Primary School, Bundaberg.

The position of APA acknowledges the importance of organisation of systems and the management of daily operations within Catholic schools. It is to assist with this particular aspect of the Principal’s leadership role that the role of APA has been created. The APA focuses on providing leadership in the overall organisation of school systems, according to Diocesan policies and practices.

The successful applicant will have a deep commitment to providing quality Catholic education based on your faith, participate in the life of the parish, as well as have appropriate teaching experience, academic qualifications and leadership qualities.

About us

St Patrick’s Catholic Primary School is situated in West Bundaberg and accepts enrolments from the whole Bundaberg district. We are proud to be a part of the Catholic Diocese of Rockhampton, and are closely aligned to the Bundaberg parish, which encompasses the whole Bundaberg region.

Increasing enrolments have allowed the school to continually improve the opportunities we provide for our students. However, the school has retained its intimate, ‘family-like’ atmosphere through the efforts of our very active parent community in partnership with staff.

St Patrick’s is a Catholic co-educational three stream school catering for approximately 500 students from Prep to Year 6. Our school has a dedicated team of professionals who work collaboratively to provide high-quality education through innovative and data-informed teaching and learning programs that will support the academic, spiritual and emotional needs of every student.
