Job description: As an Accountant, you will apply your knowledge of GAAP Accounting principle, analytical skills to ensure the integrity of the accounting data for financial reports. We are looking for leaders who are willing to dig deep, learn fast, discover improving opportunities, and provide solutions. This position will report to the Accounting Manager and will work with a team of Sr. Accountant and Sr. Analysts.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing all aspects of the accounting closing process, including but not limited to review system generated entries, prepare manual journal entries, and ensure the accuracy of the financial statement.
  • Preparing balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Documenting existing, and new accounting policies and procedures.
  • Partnering with IT and other cross functional teams to drive necessary SAP system modification/enhancement to improve existing accounting operation as well as establish new processes based on business needs.
  • Supporting both internal & external audit activities, including remediation of issues found during audit. • Assisting in accounting compliance activities including but not limited to SOX and Balance Sheet Review.
  • Providing in-depth analysis on both P/L and Balance sheet accounts.
  • Supporting other ad-hoc analysis and report requirement.
  • Identifying new opportunities and driving process and productivity improvements by learning and utilizing the Fortive Business System (FBS).
  • Owning and leading your professional and career development: such as stay current on accounting regulation and change in technology and learn the key drivers of the Company’s operations.

Our Needs:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
  • Minimum 3 years combined public accounting or corporate accounting. operation experience.
  • Working knowledge of GAAP or IFRS a plus.
  • Operate in a way that never compromises ethics and integrity.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and support practical solutions.
  • Detail-oriented with the objective of consistently delivering high quality work product, while maintaining an understanding of the bigger picture.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite and other analytical tools such as Incorta.
  • A forward-thinking mindset with an ability to make connections, carry forward learnings, and identify or anticipate potential challenges before they arise.
  • Able to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a high-energy, dynamic environment.
  • Not afraid to push back to leadership through data driven decision making models.

National: The salary range for this position is $65,900- $122,500

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.

Expected salary: $65900 – 122500 per year
