About the CCE Team:

The Customer, Communication, and Engagement team connects our community of internal and external stakeholders with Toowoomba Regional Council’s key information. The team is passionate about creating great experiences through internal communication, customer service, marketing, community engagement and media liaison. You’ll join a team of talented, creative and diverse individuals who understand that effective communication is essential in fostering strong relationships across the Toowoomba Region.

About the position:

The Customer Service Officer position will be responsible for the provision of a high level of customer service to the community by managing customer enquiries consistent with the Customer Experience Policy.

  • There are four Casual positions which could be based at locations across the region: Toowoomba, Oakey, Goombungee, Highfields, Crows Nest, Clifton, Pittsworth and Millmerran. Locations to be discussed with successful applicants.
  • The hourly rate range for these positions is $46.47 – $50.02 gross per hour, plus up to 12.65% superannuation. This rate includes 25% casual loading.

Please note that the start date for these positions will be Monday 3 June 2024 with initial training of 4 weeks.
