Job description: We are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team for a prestigious construction project in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying, with specific experience in building construction, palace, luxury hotels & villas projects. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of project costs, from initial estimates to final accounts, to ensure projects are completed within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for building construction, palace, luxury hotels & villas projectsPrepare and submit tender documents, including bills of quantities and pricing schedulesEvaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure competitiveness and accuracyMonitor project costs and financial performance throughout the construction phase, identifying and addressing any discrepancies or variancesPrepare interim valuations and progress reports for clients and stakeholdersManage contractual and commercial aspects of construction projects, including variations, claims, and final accountsCollaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure cost-effective project deliveryProvide support and guidance to junior members of the quantity surveying teamStay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in quantity surveying and construction cost management
Requirements:
Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field3 to 4 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a focus on building construction, palace, luxury hotels & villas projectsProficiency in quantity surveying software and Microsoft ExcelStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and negotiation abilitiesAbility to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamAttention to detail and accuracy in cost calculations and reportingKnowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to quantity surveying and construction contracts
Expected salary: 8000 per month
