We are seeking an On-Site Technician to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work outside the typical office environment and gain hands-on experience in technical support. We are looking for candidates who are positive, energetic, and eager to learn, as training will be provided to develop the necessary skills and knowledge for success in this role.

Remote location & Allowance:

Due to the remote location a travel allowance could be provided OR an allowance towards your accommodation for this role.

Key Responsibilities: * On-Site Support: Provide on-site technical support and assistance to clients, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, setting up equipment, and ensuring optimal system functionality.

  • Customer Service: Interact with clients in a professional and friendly manner, addressing their technical concerns, and offering solutions with a positive attitude.
  • Training: Participate in training sessions to acquire the knowledge and skills required for the role. This may include learning about specific hardware and software configurations, troubleshooting techniques, and customer service best practices.
  • Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime for clients and maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of on-site visits, issues encountered, and solutions applied. Provide detailed reports for tracking and analysis purposes.
  • Hardware Setup: Assist in setting up and configuring various hardware components, such as computers, printers, and network devices.
  • Software Installation: Install, update, and configure software applications as needed to meet client requirements.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with team members and clients to ensure a smooth workflow and efficient problem resolution.

Qualifications: * Positive Attitude: Must be a positive and energetic individual with a can-do attitude, providing excellent customer service with a smile.

  • Training: No prior on-site technical experience is necessary; we provide comprehensive training for the right candidate.
  • Technical Aptitude: Strong interest in technology and a willingness to learn about various hardware and software systems.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to various client environments and handle unique technical challenges.
  • Valid Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license may be required, as travel to client site is necessary.

Training

  • Training will be provided to successful candidate. While experience is a bonus, having the right demeanour and a solid technical aptitude to be able to learn quickly is a must.
