About the Role
Frances Perry House is looking for an Associate Midwife Unit Manager to join our Antenatal/Surgical Ward. Our Antenatal/Surgical Ward is a 25-bed ward that specialises in antenatal care and women’s health care.
In this role you will be joining our friendly team and work collaboratively with our doctors to plan, review and deliver a high standard of woman centred care.
On offer is a permanent full-time or part-time. Sponsorship is available for the right candidate.
We are committed to supporting our Associate Unit Managers and you will receive extensive orientation and supernumerary time to help you transition into your new role. Our extensive support means that in addition to supporting experienced midwives, we are also able to support a less experienced midwife to step up to a leadership position.
Your Skills and Experience
- Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife.
- Minimum 3 years relevant midwifery experience.
- Relevant post-graduate qualifications will be highly regarded
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent understanding of infection control principles.
- Willing to work in a cohesive and caring team.
This is a permanent night duty role. Ability to work these shifts is essential to be considered.
Remuneration
On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $53.22 – $ 54.98 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (VIC Associate Nurse Unit Manager gr1-gr3) [FTE $105,164.80 – $108,636.84]

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
