Due to continued growth and an increasing workload, we are now seeking applications from enthusiastic, and experienced Computational Designers to join our NSW & ACT team

Your Role

This role is to transform the way we deliver projects and make it more automated, leveraging existing technologies. It is to get to know more about the underlying principles of design and come up with ways of making it more efficient. It is to leverage technology to what its best capabilities are, connecting software applications to each other via API’s or otherwise. It is to develop scripted/automated ways of design and asset modelling.

Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.

  • Capturing design methodology using computational thinking lens
  • Identifying inefficiencies in current design processes
  • Coming up with automation solutions addressing inefficiencies
  • Presenting automated solutions to the audience
  • Coaching others in using and developing scripts

What can you bring to the team?

The preferred candidate will have a Masters Degree in Advanced Architecture along with experience in working with the following systems: Rhinoceros, Grasshopper, Revit, Dynamo, Three.js, Python, C#

To be successful this role also requires strong communication attributes both verbally and orally. Previous experience with Parametric Modelling and Visual Scripting would also be highly advantageous.
