The position focuses on monitoring production and injection performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to enhance operational efficiency. Responsibilities include leading technical evaluations, ensuring asset integrity, driving safety compliance, and mentoring young UAE engineers.Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate production and injection planning with all stakeholders to meet monthly and annual targets.
- Analyze operational and laboratory data to ensure compliance with KPIs; perform root cause analysis on deviations.
- Monitor plant processes and equipment performance, advising on corrective measures and optimization opportunities.
- Act as Area Authority for daily IWAP meetings and oversee permit-to-work approvals to maintain safe operations.
- Lead integrated shutdown planning and capacity tests to ensure efficient execution of maintenance and production schedules.
- Support design reviews, HAZOP, SIL, and other safety studies during project phases; participate in value engineering and technology trials.
- Maintain integrity of surface and subsurface facilities; resolve anomalies and ensure compliance with AIMS.
- Facilitate Management of Change (MOC) processes and ensure proper implementation within approved timelines.
- Prepare technical reports highlighting process deviations, operational risks, and recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and execute training programs for engineers and operators, focusing on safety, integrity, and operational excellence.
- Engage in risk assessments, operational audits, and implement ESG initiatives aligned with ADNOC standards.
- Participate in budget planning for operational projects, ensuring cost optimization and adherence to financial plans.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years of experience, with at least 4 years in the oil and gas industry.
- Expertise in production operations, process optimization, and shutdown planning.
- Strong knowledge of HSE standards, asset integrity management, and operational risk assessment.
- Familiarity with SAP systems, IWAP processes, and well integrity management.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
