- Conduct comprehensive reviews of existing or proposed financial systems to define requirements and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Initiate system development and customization activities in collaboration with users, developers, and software consultants to deliver fully functional solutions.
- Organize and manage user acceptance testing to verify functionality, security, and performance of financial systems.
- Gather user feedback, analyze results, consolidate findings, and implement system improvements as required.
- Provide training, orientation, and continuous support to end-users for effective system utilization.
- Develop technical documentation including specifications, user manuals, and workflow processes for existing and new systems.
- Monitor system performance, initiate fine-tuning activities, and adapt systems to revised organizational requirements.
- Create and customize applications and reports in line with business needs, including installation and configuration of systems.
- Develop logical and physical data models, ensuring compliance with program and business requirements.
- Act as the focal point for system security, managing user accounts, permissions, and troubleshooting technical issues.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with formal training in ERP financial system implementation.
- Professional Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA) preferred.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Finance/Accounting, including ERP system implementation within a large organization.
- Strong understanding of system documentation, workflow design, and business process improvement.
- Proficient in financial application configuration, data analysis, and ERP platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
