- Support the Compliance Department in developing and implementing AML/CFT frameworks and internal procedures
- Conduct client due diligence and complete risk assessments based on regulatory guidelines
- Review transactions, perform screening checks, and flag suspicious activities or red flags
- Prepare and file Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) in accordance with local regulations
- Maintain record tracking systems for AML documentation in line with retention policies
- Coordinate with multiple departments including audit, operations, and business development for AML-related follow-ups
- Assist in the development and delivery of AML/CTF, FATCA, and CRS training programs
- Work closely with compliance committee meetings, follow up on action points, and ensure timely reporting to regulators
- Keep current on changes in local and international AML regulations and compliance requirements
- Support the execution and follow-up of internal AML audits and reviews
**Ideal Profile**
- Minimum 1 year of AML compliance experience in insurance or banking
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related discipline
- Familiarity with FATCA, CRS, and transaction screening systems
- Strong communication skills with fluency in English
- Organized, deadline-driven, and capable of managing multiple compliance tasks
- High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to handle confidential data
