- Lead daily wine service, offering expert guidance to guests and coordinating with the front-of-house team for seamless experiences
- Ensure accurate wine stock rotation, storage, and temperature control, minimizing waste and preserving quality
- Recommend updates to the wine list based on guest feedback and current inventory
- Participate in staff briefings and tastings to improve team knowledge and service confidence
- Maintain detailed wine chiller logs and inventory records, supporting monthly audits
- Deliver high-level service during busy periods, managing table-side wine suggestions, pairings, and refills
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sommelier in a 5-star hotel or fine-dining restaurant
- WSET certification required; additional sommelier qualifications are a plus
- Fluent in English; European languages preferred
- Familiar with wine POS systems like Micros and booking tools such as Sevenrooms
- Comfortable working in a multicultural, fast-paced luxury environment
