The Role
Our 43-bed Medical/Surgical and Day infusion ward specialises in the care and support of patients requiring ongoing medical care, recovery from surgical procedures, or day services including infusion and cytotoxic therapies: for chronic illness and cancer including: chemotherapy, haematological treatments, iron infusions, blood infusions and specialist drug infusions.
You will work alongside our specialised and highly experienced team, who are committed to providing exceptional care to our patients in a comfortable, safe, and relaxed environment.
Your Key Skills and Experience
- Relevant Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience within an acute care environment
- Experience in infusion and oncology will be highly regarded
- Desirable chemotherapy competent, CVAD competent and cannulation competent
- Exceptional communication skills
Remuneration
A base hourly rate ranging from $40.47 – $52.19 + superannuation and applicable penalty rates, based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD RN/RM Level 1 gr2-8).

The Hospital
Caboolture Private Hospital is a fully accredited surgical and medical hospital situated in the outer Northern reaches of Brisbane – at the southern end of the beautiful Sunshine Coast. Caboolture Private is a Preferred – Tier 1 Department of Veterans Affairs accredited hospital which allows Veterans to have immediate access to the facilities without, in most cases, the need for prior approval.
This hospital has 43 beds, 3 fully equipped operating theatres, a 12 chair Day Procedure Unit and a comfortable day oncology unit. The Hospital is collocated with Caboolture Public Hospital.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
