As an LPM Analyst, you will assist in the implementation and testing of the LPM system, support data cleansing and quality assurance activities, and play a critical role in reviewing credit documents, covenant terms, and financial risk indicators. You will also coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate monitoring of waivers, amendments, and document deficiencies.Key Responsibilities
- Support the collection and cleansing of data to be fed into the LPM system
- Assist in requirement gathering and validation of features related to loan monitoring modules
- Conduct detailed testing and report system defects or functionality gaps
- Act as a “maker” within the LPM system to create and test covenant trackers
- Review LMA or similar facility agreements for institutional clients and extract relevant terms
- Evaluate waiver and amendment requests and highlight concerns to internal stakeholders
- Monitor covenant compliance certificates, financial statements, and other news sources for early warning signals
- Support the LPM team during annual reviews by gathering necessary information from coverage or agents
- Periodically review security/collateral documentation for deficiencies in the LPM portfolio
Governance & Standards
- Ensure accurate entry and tracking of credit terms and covenant data
- Assist with internal compliance by ensuring documentation is updated and centrally accessible
- Contribute to quality assurance of LPM modules and credit workflows
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Banking, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in credit analysis or loan monitoring roles within banking
- Strong understanding of LMA-based loan agreements and institutional credit facilities
- Familiarity with covenant compliance, collateral documentation, and waiver analysis
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and communication skills
- Proven ability to identify risk triggers and interpret financial disclosures
