Job Summary:

We are looking for a manager responsible for the development, enhancements, troubleshooting, fixes, and ongoing maintenance of all integration systems and applications in the enterprise such as IBM Sterling Integrator (SI), and SAP PI/PO interfaces. Position includes managing all ongoing project-based development work and day to day support of existing applications. SAP applications in the environment include core SAP ERP (ECC 6.0 EHP8), APIM, Azure, BW (HANA), SAP PO, Netweaver Gateway, Vistex, Vertex, Solution Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Manage workload for day-to-day support, administration, and maintenance for assigned application areas/systems.
  • Manage Development and ongoing maintenance/enhancements of business processes and systems.
  • Manager troubleshooting PI/PO integration to backend SAP systems. PI/PO and technical object performance tuning, interface and alert tuning, and alert monitoring.
  • Provide resources to assist with unit testing and provide support during integration testing.
  • Analyze business requirements, review existing systems, define the solution, and translate that into technical designs.
  • Manage resources for technical designs and development required to translate them into efficient and accurate code.
  • Manage and assign development projects among resources, including requirements documentation through design, development, and testing.
  • Support IT Help Desk with any EDI and SAP PI issues.
  • Manage a team of EDI resources, their workload assignment, and resolve day to day EDI issues.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with all IT, Security, third-party service consumers, and business stakeholders.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on team management experience for EDI, SAP PI and API developers.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience designing and developing SAP and non-SAP interfaces using SAP PI/PO is needed to perform at expectation.
  • IBM Sterling (SI) and EDI experience required.
  • Expert knowledge of end-to-end process integrations utilizing PO/PI.
  • Good knowledge of integrations utilizing Azure and .Net APIs.
  • Familiarity with development of Message types, Message interfaces, Message mapping and Service interfaces mappings in Enterprise Services Builder.
  • Creation of configuration objects such as the Configuration scenario, Party, Receiver determination, Interface determination, Sender agreements, Receiver agreements and iFlows for the various scenarios.
  • Experience with multiple interface technologies and concepts: XSD/WSDL, SOAP, REST, Swagger/OpenAPI, JSON, OAuth2, Odata etc.
  • Expert configuration of SAP B2B adapters including FTP,SFTP, VANs and AS2.
  • Experience in developing user-defined functions using Java.
  • Experience in full development life cycle.
  • SAP PO/PI Certifications preferred.
  • Experience in monitoring, editing and re-processing of Idocs in ECC. ABAP Development team management preferred.
  • API team management experience preferred.
  • Understand all aspects of product testing including functional, regression, performance, usability, and integration in order to develop necessary automation for maximum quality and performance.
  • Good understanding of business process flows in SD, MM and FI areas, including master data setup, and standard SAP order to cash processes in a distribution environment.
  • Experience with multiple middleware technologies: B2B, ESB, EAI, API gateways, IoT, etc.
  • Skilled at documenting detailed requirements, and breaking content down in to digestible pieces.
  • Capable of effectively communicating with internal and external partners possessing various levels of technical knowledge.
  • Determine the underlying issue when presented with sometimes confusing or contradictory information.
  • Quickly solve problems working with technical and non-technical groups in areas that may not be a primary area of expertise.
  • Experience with Vistex and Salesforce partner applications a plus.
  • Experience communicating with Customer and Suppliers.

Compensation:

Compensation Range: $131,000 – $146,000

Actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on a number of variables including work experience, education and skills/ achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer. This position is not eligible for a variable pay component as part of the hiring range.
