Benefits: Housing allowance, annual flight, medical insurance, gratuity, and other school perksAbout the Role:We are recruiting a passionate and experienced Careers Counsellor on behalf of a leading international school in the UAE. The successful candidate will support students in identifying their strengths, planning their futures, and preparing for university or career pathways. This role is ideal for someone who is student-focused, organized, and knowledgeable about international higher education systems.Key Responsibilities:Provide individual and group counselling sessions to support students with career exploration and planningGuide students through university applications (e.g., UCAS, Common App, OUAC), scholarship options, and admission requirementsOrganize career days, university fairs, guest speakers, and internship opportunitiesAdvise on subject choices in relation to post-secondary pathways (IB/IGCSE/US curriculum knowledge preferred)Maintain up-to-date records of student meetings, university applications, and placement outcomesBuild strong relationships with international universities and institutionsProvide support to parents regarding university admissions timelines and optionsCollaborate with academic staff and leadership on curriculum planning and student supportRequirements:Bachelor’s degree (Education, Psychology, or related field); a postgraduate qualification in Counselling or Career Guidance is preferred3+ years of experience in a similar counselling role within an international or secondary school settingStrong understanding of global university admissions processes (UK, US, Canada, Europe, etc.)Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to inspire and support students from diverse backgroundsFluency in English (spoken and written); Arabic or other languages are a plusBased in the UAE or willing to relocateWhat We Offer:Up to AED 15,000/month (tax-free)Housing allowanceAnnual flightMedical insuranceEnd-of-service gratuityProfessional development and a collaborative school environmentTo Apply:Please send your updated CV and a brief cover letter to:
