$17/hr.A leading company in the medical supply industry, is seeking energetic employees for a full-time position in their corporate office in Birmingham, AL. The position pays $17 per hour, with working hours from Monday to Thursday, 7:45 AM to 5:30 PM, and Friday, 7:45 AM to 2:00 PM. This is an in-office position that requires strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities
- Answer patient phone calls and address inquiries.
- Manage scheduling for patient supply orders.
- Maintain electronic medical records.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients.
- Oversee patient supply orders using automated ordering systems.
- Ensure the accuracy of patients’ medical information.
- Discuss service costs, insurance coverage, and payment options with patients.
- Submit necessary documentation required for shipment.
- Verify that all orders are placed correctly and are eligible for shipment prior to order placement.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and automated ordering systems.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient information.
- Experience in customer service is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical insurance processes is a plus.
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
Expected salary: $16 – 18 per hour
