The EHS Manager is a member of the site leadership team and is responsible for managing environmental, health and safety engagement and compliance for the Fort Worth site. This includes the development, implementation, and coordination of EHS programs that meet OSHA and ISO requirements and drive sustainable culture improvement. This position has a direct impact on Business Unit performance and must possess an in-depth knowledge of EHS regulatory requirements as well as strong interpersonal and leadership skills. The candidate must possess the ability and skills to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.You will make an impact by:

  • Develops, proposes and implements EHS processes and/or methods.
  • Plans and accomplishes roll out of EHS programs or projects and monitors respective milestone in related organization as defined by
  • Perform/coordinate industrial hygiene surveys, ergonomic evaluations, air monitoring, noise sampling.
  • Work in concert with the training department on relevant EHS training programs, including but not limited to Risk Assessment, Personal Protective Equipment, Emergency Response and Hazard Communication including content development and training facilitation.
  • Participate in audit activities (internal and external) including identification of EHS issues and driving actions to resolve.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations including but not limited to OSHA, NFPA 70E, ANSI, etc.
  • Interface with regulatory agencies, employees, and outside legal counsel on behalf of business when required, including coordinating business response and/or comments to regulatory changes
  • Ensure site conformance with ISO 45001 standards

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years EHS experience in an industrial manufacturing environment (i.e. overhead crane operation, electrical equipment testing, ergonomic assessments, etc.) along with experience supervising others.
  • Experience with ISO 45001:2018
  • Experience managing/leading and implementing occupational safety & health programs (injury reduction, trending, strategic planning, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience working on cross-functional teams as well as leading EHS projects (project management experience)
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred qualifications:

  • ASP and/or CSP Certification

  • The pay range for this position is $ $100,450 – $172,200 and comes with a 10% bonus incentive. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
