Summary

The SAP FICO Staff Business Systems Analyst role in the Global GIS function will participate/drive transformational Finance projects in a global framework. This role will involve working with peers and vendors to develop strategy, architecture and implement efficient and innovative systems and processes. This role will roll up into Director, Global Information Services (GIS) Finance and Legal and act as a strategic partner to the Company’s Research to Release Organization.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to design and document system solutions for Record-to-report
  • Ability to describe organizational objects, configuration, master data, transaction data, and periodic activities involving SAP FICO
  • Ability to discuss the functionality, features, benefits and impact of financial accounting and management accounting with business stakeholders and technical counterparts
  • Provide system blueprints, configuration documentation and functional specifications for developing RICEFW solutions
  • Troubleshoot and provide technical resolutions throughout FICO space including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Indirect Taxation, Inter-company settlement, Consolidation, Cost Center Accounting, Product Costing and Profitability analysis
  • Coordinate with SD, MM, and PP analysts, ABAP developers, and other personnel from cross integration modules and boundary systems
  • Working with OSS Online SAP Support
  • Demonstrate ability to work across organizational regional and global boundaries, ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a cross-divisional and cross-functional environment
  • Manage Application Management Support ensuring adherence to agreed SLAs

Requirements

  • At least 8 years’ experience working in SAP FICO areas with implementation and support experience
  • Experience in backend configuration in the following systems:
  • SAP Finance
  • SAP Costing
  • Open text VIM
  • Vertex Tax (Nice to have)
  • Experience working with objects from SAP MM Materials Management and SAP SD Sales and Distribution
  • Expertise in requirements gathering, writing software requirements, process modeling, and data mapping
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that non-technical end users can understand
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and successfully complete multiple projects with minimal supervision from the manager
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and thrive in a rapidly changing business environment
  • Preferred skills in ABAP program debugging and parsing ABAP code
  • Project management capabilities, with a proven track record of successfully leading projects

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in Computer Science, Information Technology and/or other relevant finance and accounting fields

The estimated base salary range for the SAP FICO Staff Business Systems Analyst role based in the United States of America is: $115,800 – $173,800. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
