The PE Teacher – Secondary School Abu Dhabi UAE will deliver a broad and inclusive physical education program that promotes health, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The teacher will support students in developing physical skills and a lifelong appreciation for fitness and well-being.Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons aligned with the British curriculum
- Promote student participation in physical activity and school sports
- Plan and assess lessons that cater to diverse learning abilities and styles
- Coordinate and coach extracurricular sports and interschool competitions
- Ensure student safety and effective supervision during activities
- Track and report student progress and physical development
- Collaborate with teaching colleagues to organize events and integrate health education
- Participate in school-wide initiatives, professional development, and parent engagement
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or B.Ed with PGCE in PE
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a secondary school, preferably within a British curriculum setting
- ECTs welcome through BSO-accredited NQT and iPGCE programs
- Strong subject knowledge across a range of sports and physical education theory
- Excellent classroom and behavior management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to contributing to extracurricular programs and whole-school activities
- Availability to join from August 2025
