We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer – Mechanical (Lifting Appointed Person) to join our client’s team in the oil and gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, supervising, and coordinating lifting operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. The candidate should have ADNOC approval and experience working with lifting operations.Key Responsibilities:
1. Lifting Operation Planning:
– Develop detailed lifting plans, including risk assessments and method statements.
– Ensure that all lifting operations are conducted safely and in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
2. Supervision and Coordination:
– Supervise and coordinate lifting operations, including crane setup, rigging, and load handling.
– Ensure that all personnel involved in lifting operations are aware of potential hazards and risks.
3. Compliance and Regulatory:
– Ensure compliance with ADNOC regulations and industry standards.
– Stay up-to-date with changes to regulations and industry standards.
4. Training and Development:
– Provide training and guidance to team members on lifting operations and safety procedures.Requirements:
1. Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. Experience:
– Minimum 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
– Proven experience in lifting operations and having ADNOC approval.
3. Certifications:
– ADNOC approval and certification.
– Other relevant certifications (e.g., API, CITB) are an advantage.
4. Skills:
– Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and lifting operations.
– Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
– Strong communication and leadership skills.Salary AED 16000-20000 (all in) + Standard benefits as per UAE law
Expected salary: 16000 – 20000 per month
