Job Type: Full-timeJob OverviewYou will collaborate across engineering, DevOps, and compliance teams to embed security controls throughout the software development lifecycle. This position requires strong technical knowledge of cloud security, automation tools, regulatory frameworks, and secure coding practices in financial environments.Key Responsibilities
- Implement security controls and monitoring solutions within CI/CD pipelines for banking applications
- Perform threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and risk evaluations for cloud-native environments
- Integrate security testing tools such as Fortify, Checkmarx, and SonarQube into automated workflows
- Develop secure infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to enforce identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and secure configurations
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks including FFIEC, SOX, and relevant local data protection laws
- Monitor for security events and respond to incidents with root cause analysis and remediation plans
- Document policies, procedures, and risk assessments related to DevSecOps processes
- Support audit readiness and security governance for digital banking platforms
Job RequirementsEducation and Certifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Security certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, GWAPT, or CCSK preferred
Experience
- Minimum 5 years in IT security with at least 2 years in a DevSecOps role within banking or financial services
- Demonstrated experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, Chef)
- Familiarity with container security, IAM, and cloud-native architecture
Skills
- Strong knowledge of secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC)
- Experience with regulatory compliance for digital banking platforms
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical thinking
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts to technical and business teams
