Job description: Akkodis is seeking a Functional Consultant for a Contract job with a client in Austin, TX/ Cupertino, CA. The ideal candidate must have strong technical and communication skills to drive performance optimization across various business segments.Rate Range: $45/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Functional Consultant job responsibilities include:Defining, developing, and executing performance and scalability benchmarks for SAP and non-SAP applications.Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks in SAP BTP, API Management, and SAP Integration Suite.Optimizing HANA database performance, SQL queries, and JVM tuning for improved efficiency.Conducting end-to-end performance testing using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, and SoapUI.Utilizing profiling tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, HANA DB Cockpit) for monitoring and root cause analysis.Collaborating on architecture reviews to ensure system scalability and reliability.Implementing SAP BTP-specific performance strategies, including Smart Data Integration (SDI) and mobile app performance testing.Desired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on performance testing experience.Strong expertise in SAP application performance testing and tuning.Proficiency in Python, Perl, ABAP, Java, and C++.If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
