You will play a pivotal role in supporting student achievement and preparing learners for academic qualifications in physics at the GCSE and A-Level stages.Key Responsibilities

  • Teach GCSE and A-Level Physics with high academic standards
  • Plan and deliver well-structured lessons that challenge and inspire learners
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide clear, constructive feedback
  • Differentiate instruction for students with varying abilities and learning needs
  • Encourage students’ personal development, scientific inquiry, and innovation
  • Integrate digital tools and technology to enhance teaching and assessment
  • Collaborate with other Science Department members and cross-functional teams
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school leaders
  • Participate in extra-curricular programs, science fairs, and school events
  • Follow GEMS Education’s safeguarding and conduct policies at all times

Job RequirementsEducation:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physics or Science-related field
  • B.Ed. or PGCE / PGDE with specialization in Physics is required
  • Attested qualifications preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience teaching Physics at secondary level
  • Prior experience with the British curriculum (GCSE and A-Level) is essential
  • Track record of successful student outcomes and subject passion

Skills:

  • Strong classroom management and instructional planning
  • Proficient in integrating ICT into lesson delivery and student engagement
  • Collaborative, resourceful, and adaptable in an international environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
